The Crescent Manor series

Crescente Miniature Designs artisan Frank Crescente is proud to introduce a series of 4 day workshops that are exclusive only to the Chicago International Miniature show. The Crescent Manor series will consist of six rooms. Each room will include interior and exterior walls decorated with beautiful architectural detailing along with floors and ceilings. Each room is designed to stack on top of each other or connect side by side to create the Manor it self or, they can stand on there own as a room box when finished. List of rooms are as followed. The great Georgian living room, The Main Hall, The French dining room, The Master bedchambers, the guest bed room, and the kitchen.

Overall the Manor will stand five feet tall and three feet wide.

The Great Georgian Living Room.

Starting this year 2012, join Frank Crescente as your instructor with the first of the series, The Great Georgian Living Room. This spectacular room is modeled in the true style it’s named after. Beautifully appointed with a Georgian fireplace, paneled walls, crown moldings, base boards, chair rails, door openings, windows, and hardwood flooring, will make this room one of six fantastic spaces that will make-up a truly amazing miniature marvel. All tools, materials, and electrical wiring will be supplied along with instructions. Furnishings and accessories (courtesy of Ron’s dollhouse Orlando Florida) are not included. Each year a new room will be introduced at the Chicago International miniature show. If you can not attend fear not, each room will be available in a kit form and can be shipped to your home only after the show dates. Workshop space is limited so be sure to sign up early. Sign up by March 10, 2012.

Parking Rates - Normal overnight parking for guests staying in the hotel is $20 per night - our reduced rate is $10 per night.

Daytime parking is $3.00 per day.

FREE Airport Shuttle Service - Complimentary shuttle service is provided by the Marriott to the hotel. The shuttle will stop at the Marriott Suites on River Road first and then continue on another three minutes to the Marriott Chicago O'Hare which is the location of both the retail and wholesale shows.
